Today we started digging out the parking lot with a 20-pound sledge, pick axe, and shovels. We also concreted in new fence posts to move a fence behind the old Tastee Freez. This will create more parking behind the building for the tenants.
Doing the work by hand saves us from using fuel, which we would need to carbon offset later. Braden (right) lives in the neighborhood, and Floyd (left) biked to the job site.
